A friend of mine got a carbine and a pistol version when they first came out. This was in California so no hope for an SBR but that's a whole other thing. He encountered reliability issues which became well known on earlier versions but I understand Kriss did a great job making things right and have since fixed the problems. The bad: I thought it was cool but a little over complicated and a little big for being a "compact" weapon. It also has a bull-pup style trigger so it's only going to be so good by design. I also wish they made versions in cheaper calibers. Oh well. The carbine version seemed kinda pointless with other, cheaper, more trusted designs out there.
The good: That over-complicated part in the bad section results in a really smooth and stable shooting experience. Using Glock mags was a great choice especially since you can get a nice, long extension for them. It did shoot pretty well in pistol form and I'll bet an SBR version would be awesome.
All things considered I think it's a cool, fun gun but wouldn't put in the money it would take to get the good SBR version it deserves to be.
