Default These will not require a BGC (yet).

Perhaps this is repost of a repost or a repost but according to 18-12-112, 6A. antique firearms and C&R firearms will be exempt from this new UBGC. This exemption covers a lot of common firearms such as the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, GI 1911/1911A1, Yugo SKS's and MANY other common collectables that are 50 years old or older.

As indicated, this should REALLY be interesting to see how "they" handle these 50+ year oldies.

I too was wondering about the C&R thing. Isn't it funny that someone could mail order a gun just as bad as anything that could be purchased face to face. And if a C&R guy already has an FFL why another instacheck? And why no exclusion for CCWs? Some states skip the background check if you have a CCW.

There's a little more to the story than that.

That bill passed both houses and went to the Governor's desk to die a few years ago.

Randy, I have yet to see anything (in print) to the contrary. I'd sure like to hear more about this one!! The Amendment 22 also excluded the C&R and antiques too.......
