    Default XD-s owners

Could be general question, but my brother just picked up an XD-s and tried dry firing and the trigger won't reset. Only resets when he racks the slide again. Any idea? or is this how an XD-s is cause all my XD's reset itself after firing.

    Nevermind, figured it out.

Huh? None of my Xd, XDm, or XD-s reset without racking the slide. And that pretty much goes for every pistol out there. If yours resets with out doing anything I would say you have a problem

XD-s you have to hold down the trigger and rerack the slide for it to drop after dry firing.

How does that work when actually firing? Does the slide rack so quickly that the trigger is still depressed when doing so and therefore resetting the trigger?
