    Default Garand Help

Use Bert. He went through my Garand and it runs like a champ!

Rifle is still in shop, firing pin may need replacement, waiting for gunsmith to testfire the rifle. I really like the guy but in hindsight, I should have gone to Bert. Bummed out, but lesson learned.

I may have a Garand and a Carbine coming Bert's way. Nothing wrong as far as I can tell, but a look see wouldn't hurt.

END RESULT - Rifle was taken apart, spec's checked, cleaned, then test fired. Everything came out fine, I just had to be patient. I'm grateful for everyone's advice and have contacted Bert about another project I'm working on. Thanks again to all.

I have spare firing pins, in stock, somewhere.
