    Default AICS help

I just picked up an AICS 2.0 for my Remington 700 .223

Installed it last night, but came up with a problem. If I tighten both action screws down to spec (35in/lbs) I can't open/close the action. If I back out the front screw just slightly the action opens/closes fine. I took off the skin and can't immediately see anything out of the ordinary. With the front screw backed out though it makes me nervous that it'll come loose and start causing problems. Anyone else ever have this problem? I've emailed a couple gunsmiths to have the barrel threaded and figured they could check it out while threading it, still waiting to hear back....

It does look good though ;-)

The front action screw is too long. I had to shorten mine on the grinder. Look inside the action and you'll see the end of the screw poking up into the action. Simple fix.
