Arrived at work this morning. Walked from my truck towards the shop. Next thing I knew I woke up on the ground. Probably out for only a few seconds. Apparently slipped on the snow while walking up a slight incline towards our office, hit my head and landed on my shoulder. Spent all day in the ER with 2 MRIs, ct scan and xrays. Diagnosis: Torn rotator cuff, concussion, bulged discs between L5-S1.

Good news is I knocked myself out (so says the doc) so I didn't feel the fall or the sudden stop at the end. Bad news is now I probably need shoulder surgery.

Damn.
