Default Hunters Education - Short Ammo? DOW/Parks

Taking the family through Hunters Education this week, and there are several non-students who already have our Hunters Education cards. They will be re-testing us, why I don't know, for fun I guess?

The few of us will not be allowed to shoot on the range due to the lack of, or cost of ammo. Really? Wouldn't you think the DOW/Parks would have a pallet of 22LR in their inventory already for Hunters Ed classes. How many rounds could two more shooters cost them? $5 max? I really don't expect each shooter to fire more than about 10 rounds, maybe 20. * 10 students.

Just found this to be interesting.

I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.

What freaking media? You don't hear about the purchases on CNN , ABC etc. Because they are covering for our governments suspicious movements.

I feel bad for those taking the hunter safety course and being impacted by no ammo, but we all are at that too.

I remember shooting the same rifles they'll probably shoot tonight, old bolt action marlins and glenfields. I think we shot one round per position. (1980) Off Hand, Sitting, prone, and whatever the other one is. (hope I don't flunk!)

The one I did was run by a couple, and the cost of the class barely covered their costs). The DOW didn't give them anything afaik to run the class. The only reason they charged at all was that so many people would sign up and then not show when it was free (their words).

Ok, they gave 4 students 10 shots each. None of us spectators were allowed to shoot. One more day and we're done with hunters education. Next up is Wife and CCW.

Nice range the DOW has setup though. Appears it's also used by State Patrol and possibly some other agencies?
