Ironically his manipulations helped destroy communism... and that is a bad thing?

If you are destroying communism in order to forward your own adgenda of a new world order, then yes, I see a downside.

Soros is the liberal version of the Koch brothers. He owns moveon.org. He spends a lot of money, not just on stuff like lobbying and buying legislators (sorry, I meant to say "contributing to", not "buying"), but on influencing public opinion through advertising, supporting interest groups, etc.

No, but the CEO of Cerebus Holdings who is the principal of Freedom Group (who owns Bushy, Remington etc) is a large contributor to Soros.

IIRC (and I'm not a place to research) the Koch brothers have spent roughly 400 million in political dollars.

Soros has spent well past a billion.

It's like a hobby for him. Some people like to go bass fishing and some people just like to wreck economies. He is like a real life skeletor.

Cerebus Holdings is run by Steve Feinberg. No reputable sources have found any connection between Feinberg and Soros.

In short, this rumor and all related such rumors are false. No connection between Soros and the Freedom Group. Period.

I'm not getting into a pissing match with the resident progressive. If you put Soros and Koch on the same playing field, much like every other argument here, there is not helping you see otherwise.
