I used to own a 9mm version. It was proabbly my favorite Sig aside from a P210.
I really want the SAS gen 2 for a slimmer option to my 229 with SRT. That or the 224 whenever it becomes available in 9mm with the srt
Had one in .40, no complaints. As solid as any other SIG I've owned.
"We've done the impossible, and that makes us mighty."
Nathan Fillion, "Firefly"
I carried a 239 in .40 as my concealed gun for 10 years. Love it. My wife has taken mine over for her carry gun.
Only reason I stopped carrying it was that I am trying to discipline myself with glock triggers so I am primarily shooting glocks at the range (so a glock is what I carry).
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

It's a fantastic handgun. Single stack magazine, slim enough for comfortable carry. Some don't care for the trigger guard, but I like it, not just the way it looks, but it aids for carry purposes.
Mine was originally bought in .40 S&W, but I picked up a .357 sig barrel and magazines. I actually like the .357 sig round a bit more than the .40 S&W.
A great add-on is the Hogue grip. Fills the hand better than the stock grips.
I love mine.
