My personal time to grieve for those killed and their families was abruptly cut short by those wishing to further infringe on my right to keep and bear arms. A right protected by the US Second Amendment.

In what seemed a single moment, I’ve had to stop grieving the loss of life and start defending myself and my love of our Constitution from a government that apparently believes the Constitution to be archaic and a people, fueled by a biased media, that believe I and others that hold the Second Amendment dear to be the murderers.

In just a day or so I’ve seen my government go from the position of “we need to gather as one and figure this out” to outright sweeping legislation further restricting our Second Amendment rights with any “gathering as one” cast aside.
I am watching on TV, my fellow Americans trying to defend the Second Amendment being yelled at, ridiculed, and cursed by supposed unbiased reporters.
We law-abiding Americans that hold dear our Constitution and the rights protected therein did not commit these atrocities yet we and our protected rights are attacked.
I see false statistics presented by my government and the media in support of their attacks. In my own research I find the following statistics from reliable sources –.

This is inspiring. I hope they continue to gain momentum and go even further than repealing the SAFE Act and demand NY state loosen up the overly restrictive (as far as I understood) gun laws they had prior to SAFE.

I wonder if John Roberts is regrettting his vote for Obamacare and comments, paraphrasing: Citizens need to stand up for their rights and stop electing bad representatives. Although what he said is correct, it was putting the blame for Obamacare on the people and not himself. Once a majority is voting for stupidity (as in many cases now), he in many cases represents the very last line of defense. Ih he continues to punt in controversial cases, the pace of our demise will be even faster than it already is...
