It would be really good for the people up in JEFFCO and Gilpin to go to Sen. Nicholson's in numbers. I will be at the one starting at noon. Her last election was only won by 500ish votes.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

    I think I'll be going to Nicholson's...

I like how some elected officials are starting to go on the offensive. I just received an email from Tim Neville (Dist 22) asking for people to go to Nicholson's event.

Nicholson changed the venue to the library.

"Senator Jeanne Nicholson will be holding a town hall meeting this Saturday, February 23rd, at 12:00 pm at the Evergreen Library, 5000 County Road 73"
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I'm sorry to rain on your parade gentlemen, but do you really think these stinkin' politicians give a s--t what you think? I really think most of us are just wasting our time on something that has already been decided (rammed down our throats) I've made all the calls, sent the letters, and there was an overwhelming pro-gun turnout at the "hearings". Has it done a damn thing? It's already a done deal. We're pushing a rope up a hill.

It ain't over until it's over. No point in giving up just yet until the end.

They would sure love it if we just raised the white flag. The House was a solid yes on all the bills, but he Senate is not. There are a few democrat senators from swing and rural districts that are worried even the governor himself. We might not get them all defeated, but I would sure like to get some of it defeated. Most of the Democrats are a waste of time, but some of them can be influenced like Tocktrop. The rural dems from Pueblo, Larimer, and the Western Slope will listen.

Good luck to all of you that still want to beat a dead horse. I'm convinced we are at that stage Of the"Republic" where there is just barely a vestige of what the founders created, and it's all downhill now. Republicans or Democrats, can't tell the difference between 'em.
