A group we've formed called Colorado Accountability has given Mike McLachlan a copy of the official petition that will be filed this week with the Secretary of State, calling for his recall. He failed his constituents by blatantly ignoring them, and running on a pro-2A platform, then voting yes on all anti-gun/citizen disarmament bills.

There will be a video edited by Monday or Tuesday, at which time we will post it up.

Link to news paper article: Durango Herald

(Not sure why he seemed to think our article was posted before the meeting.. dyslexia maybe)

He was handed the grievance on Saturday morning by representatives from our group with a crowd of 400+ in attendance, outnumbering the gun grabbers 10 to 1. After the meeting our guys talked to hundreds of those leaving.

This will be the first of many recalls. As an elected official you DO NOT MESS WITH OUR GUN RIGHTS! They will learn this, the hard way.

What we need you to do is email the Dem Senators in our state congress and let them know about this. Let them know that they can and will be subject to recall campaigns if they do not listen to their constituents. It doesn't matter if you're out of state, send the email and let them know they won't be getting your tourism dollars and oh, by the way, they might be recalled like that guy McLachlan.

    Dem Senator Emails:

    angela.giron.senate@state.co.us; gail.schwartz.senate@gmail.com; john.morse.senate@state.co.us; john.kefalas.senate@state.co.us; jeanne.nicholson.senate@state.co.us; senatormattjones@gmail.com; rollie.heath.senate@state.co.us; senatorhudak@gmail.com; cheri.jahn.senate@state.co.us; jessie.ulibarri.senate@state.co.us; andy.kerr.senate@state.co.us; lotochtrop@aol.com; mary.hodge.senate@state.co.us; linda.newell.senate@gmail.com; nancy.todd.senate@state.co.us; morgan.carroll.senate@state.co.us; pat.steadman.senate@state.co.us; irene.aguilar.senate@state.co.us; mike.johnston.senate@state.co.us; lucia.guzman.senate@state.co.us

    Subject Lines:

Vote NO on the anti-gun bills! McLachlan voted yes now he's being RECALLED

McLachlan is being RECALLED for ignoring his constituents - Vote NO on the anti-gun bills!

    Sample Letter:

    Dear Honorable Senator,

I wanted to urge you to vote NO on all the anti-gun/citizen disarmament bills coming to the Senate.

These bills are downright dangerous to gun owners trying to protect their families and they infringe on the people's Constitutional rights.

I'd also like to point your attention to Rep. Mike McLachlan. He was told on Saturday morning that he's going to be the subject of
a recall campaign due to the fact that he ignored his constituents and trampled on the Constitution when he voted yes on the
anti-gun bills. There's an article in the Durango Herald.

If these bills pass this state will also no longer receive any of my tourism dollars.

    Thank you for your time,

Awesome job. You have my respect. Can we drop the word "honorable" when writing to these people (tongue in cheek) ?

Touché.. You've done more in less than a month on the form than myself in 6mo. Keep up the great work.
You have a right to your opinion, and I have a right to tell you how stupid it is

Fixed Durango Herald link up above.

Thank you for everyone's support. We must fight every way we can, as hard as we can. Gun owners are being backed into a corner here and we need to strike or forever live under even more oppressive laws and "incremental" gun control.

checked out your sight. Very good work so far! Just a hint, but there's another site out there called www.coloradoaccountabilityprojects.com that is a LIBERAL SHIT HOUSE RIPOFF trying to do the opposite. You may want to make sure people don't go there instead. Also, if there is anything a guy in Aurora can do to help out, please let me know.

From that Durango Herald article: "“I’m a centrist,” he told the crowd, some of whom jeered at him. He explained that putting limits on high-capacity ammunition magazines was a good idea, and he would settle for 30-round magazines."

Bullshit. In the judiciary committee meeting, he voted against a proposed amendment that would set the cap at 31 for rifle/pistol and 20 for shotgun.

    emailed them all...again.
Are you getting any financial support from RMGO or NRA? You could very well be the point on the recall effort through CO and hopefully it will catch on.

I do agree, if our efforts don't go through on Monday our best option would be a recall vs. waiting for 2014. Are there any Facebook pages that can be joined to help push the recall effort and spread the word quickly?

Great to see the recent news. Hopefully things start rolling this week.
