Garage sale addicts, a question

Maybe “addicts” is a bit harsh, maybe not. Anyway, this question is for those who go to (or used to go to) a lot of yard/garage sales. Have you cut down on the number of sales you go to, because of the price of fuel? Or do you still spend the day looking for bargains?

I'll stop if I come across one while running errands or I'll check them out while taking a walk in the neighborhood but I don't waste fuel anymore. I've even started planning my weekend drives so I'm not wasting fuel and get everything done in a loop back to the house. Don't like it but what are ya gonna do ?
