If I still had a 401K or some kind of investment vehicle, this is what I'd do. You can invest in gold, silver, ammo, firearms, storage food, etc...
Just be aware, if you're 401K is in gold it is paper gold, not pfyzz and paper gold/silver are oversold like an overbooked airplane.

Not necessarily. You can hold physical gold in a retirement investment. But I'm not an expert.

Nope, QE4 is coming and that will forestall any correction or depression.

The dollars in your hand will lose value but the fiat markets will continue to grow based on this thin air cash infusion.

True, but how are you going to collect it? Are you going to drive to Chicago Mercantile Exchange and get it? LOL - you'll be DRT and your family will be SOL.

I don't think some of you get it, just because your parents are collecting theirs does not guarantee you will collect yours. The only guarentee is that FedGov will get its share, 10, 20 50 100 percent.

Look at Greece right now, the EU(Germany) is backstopping Greece. The US backstops the EU, NO ONE backstops the US...no one.

Seems you're not interested in doing some research to find out the facts? You buy it, you hold it. Period. Done.

    Watch this, it'll explain it:

I was thinking about procuring 1200+ firearms, and over two tons of ammo.

Hopefully I can sell it at a profit before I die in my car.

Words of wisdom. If you think Texas is a bit liberal now, wait till all the job chasers from Kali start flocking. Too bad, I have family there and toyed with moving there.

That gun to ammo ratio may be off. I'd shoot for minimum Six tons.
