It’s all a facade, and behind there is nothing but Central Banks and computer algorithms, propping up whatever prices the oligarchs want propped-up (like the EQUITIES MARKETS), and suppressing what they want suppressed (like the METALS). Oh, and there are yet a dwindling handful of imbecilic stooges and the used-car salesmen brokers who lack the integrity to tell their clients the truth, both hoping to milk and pimp just a few more bucks out of the orgiastic abomination.

They will be unable to suppress it indefinitely.
Once the dominoes start to fall and bank customer/stock market trader panic sets in, PM value will go through the roof - not that I would ever trade it back for dollars.
but it will at least retain it's value against other currency- you may not want to get back into $US, but whatever currency replaces it as the world standard.
"They" will no longer be controlling the price, since their control is based on $US- so PM values should rise in value to other currencies as well, right?
