Default Stores sold out of ammo in Denver area.

Was a several stores today, including Sportsmans Warehouse and Bass Pro Shop . . . shelves were stripped bare aside from a few boxes of oddball calibers. The news said the situation is similar down in Colorado Springs. Found the .308 I wanted at Firing Line in Aurora. They seemed to be fairly well stocked up on handgun ammo as well.

The guy at Sportsman's Warehouse claimed that every Friday before the store opens there are over a hundred customers lined up outside the door, and they all rush over to the ammo section and pick it clean within an hour.

Thats odd, I have no trouble finding all the ammo I need. Good prices too.

Usually there's at least a few boxes of some of the more common calibers left. Never seen the shelf stripped that bare before. I think there were a few boxes of 10mm Buffalo Bore and some .41 magnum on the handgun side and that was it. No other handgun ammo, .22 ammo, or shotgun shells. On the rifle side they had a few boxes of .30-06 and some oddball calibers.
