Default Taking NRA Basic Pistol in another state?

I'm working in San Antonio currently and will have to stay here for a few weeks for work. If I were to take the NRA basic pistol in Texas would I still be able to apply for the Colorado Concealed Carry License? I'm a resident of Colorado. This is the class I'm looking at: http://npsitraining.com/class-detail...ol-basic-(nra)

    Thanks in advance.

Yes. Be sure to get a copy of the instructor credentials.

You should get a training certificate with the Instructors creds on it.

Like mentioned yes you can, BUT you will get none of the Colorado specific rules and laws. Its always best to get it where you reside. Let us know if we can help you out when you get back home.
