    Bank and wife too. 1836 piece is I believe made by Enfield and was an Indian trade shotgun. Flintlock scattergun

    I would sell my soul to the devil if I could shoot that 1863 flint lock. I love BP not to mention a scatter gun that would be heaven.

    But you have to figure out what to load. I hang it on the wall. I have BP, and I'll find a flint.

    We need FFG for the charge powder and FFFFG for the flash pan trust me I can load it. Nine dimes LOL it was refered to as 9-00 buck pellets.

    Ever seen young guns? Billy the kid tells the sheriff he has nine dimes in each barrel (side by side) then he shoots him and says "Thats the best dollar and 80 cents I ever spent".

    I am not advocating billy the kids actions just saying I love the old west and the history of that rifle is awesome.

    Hang it on the fire pace hell no lets shoot it. We don't need to use 00 it really don't matter what we use for shot lets just shoot it.

    Some things I have because I like to hear them go bang. Some I have because they have gone bang a long time ago. They may again. Let me clean em up, the springs and tubes all work.
