Wrong. I fault republicans and others who voted to expand civil rights protection for transgender, it should have been removed from the law.

That is why gay rights legislation often fails . . . because a special interest insists on the inclusion of crossdressers and transvestites, claiming that a man in a dress should be protected by law from teasing or discrimination in employment . . . but it is not even a transgender person who is taking hormones and considering surgery but a dude in women's clothes . . . go out amongst the general populace as a dude in a dress and you need to EXPECT to take some shit for that, but these clowns expect to be able to sue anyone who hurts their feelings. Many of the politically active gays are pissed off at them too. They want the right to get married and not be fired from their jobs if someone somehow finds out . . . which most people probably support . . . but then some dude in a dress comes along and demands equal rights and inclusion in the bill . . . and of course the legislators are appalled.

It is even more appalling that parents would encourage a 6 year old boy to present as female at a public school and think other students would be okay with that. Their child is guaranteed not to fit in with anyone due to that . . . which seems to be a non-issue since it looks like they decided to pull the child from school over not being allowed to use the girls bathroom. They claim the child has always insisted he was a girl . . . and while that may well be true, you just ignore that shit until they become a teenager, you certainly don't encourage it and demand the public school give the child special treatment.

A child that young who is identified by his parents as "transgendered" should, in my opinion, be put in foster care and the parents held for psychiatric observation. You cannot identify as trans or gay until you reach puberty, and should not identify publicly until you're in your late teens. A six year old has zero comprehension of what that is all about.
