Wow, I was reading through these posts and was surprised at the number of people who seem to think surrender is a first strike weapon. I am a simple guy but it seems to me that when we do nothing we are comfortable with the current events. Well I am not comfortable with the current events at all. I plan on going to the capitol on Monday, I may say my piece and go home. There are lots of things I could do on Monday besides go to the capitol. Everyone of us will choose to do what is the most important to us on Monday or what causes the least discomfort. Thank you to those members who show up. If I am doing whats I believe is right I couldnt care less what the odds are.

The defeatist attitude by some on here doesn't surprise me. When you have elected officials winning their seats by a quarter of the population's vote... all it shows is that people don't care. If they aren't going to get out and vote... they aren't going to take time to go to the capitol and be seen. People want their rights, as long as it isn't an inconvenience to fight for them. Do you really expect something different from those who immediately stand up and say they are gonna run, "I'm moving", as soon as something like this happens?
