Default PMAG Gen 2 vs Gen3

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these and is there a significant performance difference?

Gen3 works in the HK416 and a couple other rifles that the gen2's won't work in that about it

OK, maybe not, but it's a good start.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Gen 3's work in the SCAR 16 without modification while the gen 2's don't.

Man, I loved reading the discussion about buying some up if Obama got re-elected, and some people suggesting it wasn't going to be an issue. Like a time machine!

I'd always thought they had issues seating consistently, if that's not the case I stand corrected.

There's also just a little bit more play when you have 30 rounds loaded. Almost enough for 31. This helps to seat the mag on a closed bolt. I thought that was the biggest difference besides the 416 thing.

It's bittersweet: I wish they had been right but alas, they could not have been more wrong. I've had to pat myself on the back more than once for resisting the urge to tell a few people "I told you so".

I just went back and read it (I didn't reread before I posted it above). Very interesting.
