    I am from Parker Colorado and am interested in IDPA match shooting. Any experts out there willing to take a novice under their wing?

    IDPA looks like so much fun. I should go just to spectate, then next time maybe shoot.

    First, welcome to the forum.

    Second, there are a couple of IDPA matches every month, as listed in the "IDPA Schedule" post.

    If you haven't already, you would need show up at a match an hour early, to take the safety course. (one time deal) Then shoot with that squad, and get your safety card.

    Specific questions can be asked here.
