Once it's law the likelihood of it being repealed is very slim. The dems will lay low for a decade or so and let the dust settle, then come at us again to "compromise" for more. It's been a repeating pattern over the last 30 years

This can be repelled with an initiative and placed on the ballot.

Hell, if the potheads can make smoking week a constitutional right, then we should be able to get the mag limit repealed.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

i think we are out numbered. People think that pot = happiness peace etc and guns = death. That's all they think about.

It depends on the turnout. Everybody thought we were nuts when we predicted the House would turn in '94 as well as the Senate.

Third reading will be interesting in the Senate. If they have three Democrat vote no any of these, they go down.

I better never hear a gun owner defend those bastards again! It really pisses me off that I put so much work into the '94 election to get those assholes out off office, and now I am doing it all over again!

Just got home after an icy ride. I was actually one of the lucky ones, and got a blue card, so that I could sit in on the hearings. I was, for most of the day, sitting immediately behind the podium in the middle. I had my speech prepared, but unfortunately wasn't able to stay beyond the end of the 1224 testimony and passing. I'll post pictures tomorrow. It was good to see all of the people there in opposition.

By the way, if anyone else stayed till the end of 1224, I was the one who yelled at Sen. Aguilar that she should represent Colorado, and not D.C.
