    It's still completely unenforceable. You loan him the gun for a week long elk hunt - how would any LEO know it isn't his?

    Well, yeah, thats why this is a "feel-good" law only. "Son, is that gun yours?" / "Yes sir." A LEO would have to see the transfer happen, and now, with the 72hr exemption even that's out the window.-- Are there any statements in the bill about burden of proof?
