    The question is (not personally here towards you -- just in general) -- will it last to the midterms. Very few people vote in midterms. And the public tends to have a very short memory.

    These laws are going to be very very difficult to overturn. Even if it was successful, expect to live with them for 5-10 years. (in other words: we have a lot of work ahead of us)

    My point there isn't to be negative. It's to be realistic and a bit motivational. I get a feeling that a lot of people are gonna just throw their hands up when the final votes come down... but even then it doesn't mean it's over; just a lot harder.
