Anyone catch "The Bible" on the History Channel on Sunday? I DVR'd it and just watched it myself. (repost? Hope not) Oh, I'm no "thumper", BTW.

I really liked this. It's a 10 hour "docu-drama". Looks like 2 hrs. every Sunday until Easter (not an accident). The Bible

The cool thing for me was that it was seriously violent, like it really was back then. Folks didn't f*ck around back then - no ACLU and all of that shit.

The only negative was the giant skips in time. But hey, you only got 10 hours, minus commercials, to present the entire history of the world......I'll give them a little slack.

I saw an ad for that show last night, called a buddy who's kind of into that stuff to tell him about it.

I watched it a bit today. And you're right, it does go too fast. But like you said, ten hours really isn't enough time to cover all that happened in the Bible.

I am really enjoying this. It is like a Cliff Notes version of the Bible, could be 10 times longer.
