I'm gonna wait until it's all out on DVD and then pirate it. Yes, pirate The Bible. Grin.

On another note... if this is a History Channel vision of it, does that mean that the Creation weaves in some ancient aliens in a far-reaching conspiracy? Just sayin...

    Two questions:
why nobody really looks middle eastern and why the hell most historical movies have their actors speak with a british accent?
    Does not help with credibility...

Historical accuracy aside, "middle eastern' hasn't be a redeeming attribute for the last decade or so.

Technically speaking, most of the characters from the early parts of the bible are Israelites- no one is quite sure exactly how they looked back then, but probably somewhat close to Israelis today look. And the accent, well they'd all be speaking Aramaic, and since no one speaks that language it'd sound like gibberish without subtitles and we'd all be lost!

Thanks to all in this thread for the heads-up. I'll be sure to check it out.

They're airing it tonight on History, plus an encore presentation Sunday at 3PM MST before they air the new episode at 5PM... Just FYI.

Doesn't look like they are going to sell episodes in iTunes or amazon either.

Well according to Mel Gibson, he is the second coming of Christ...
