Default Hickenloopers does not believe signing will cost him reelection.

Sorry guys but looks like Hickenlooper has made up his mind. http://m.9news.com/localnews/article?a=321188&f=1269

Shows us how important 2014 is going to be. We got to knock this clown and all the other out of office. I hope a good alternative to Howdy dudey can be found. The man has not done a Damm thing for business here in this state since he has taken office. He is a puppet for Obama and hopefully we can trounce the SOB and prove we are not a small minority.

Could someone post the text for the article? Thanks my friends keep up the good fight.

DENVER-In an exclusive interview with 9NEWS Monday, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper said that he is not concerned over claims that his support of several gun control bills will put his re-election hopes in jeopardy.

"No I don't think so. I really don't think so," Hickenlooper said. "I have talked to many, literally like over a hundred people. Almost everyone says, 'yeah, as long as there's no centralized database. As long as you're not taking weapons away from us, but you're just making sure that when we sell a weapon it doesn't go to someone with a violent criminal history or severe mental illness, yeah that makes sense.'"

A constant drone of honking car horns could be heard from inside the governor's office, part of a demonstration against the gun control measures. A hired airplane flew over the Capital for hours towing a banner that read, "HICK: DO NOT TAKE OUR GUNS."

"There's a plane flying around that's saying, 'Hick, don't take our guns.' Well, here's the answer: we're not taking any guns," said the governor.

While nobody would have to give up a gun they currently own under the proposals, the protestors still see them as overly restrictive of the second amendment.

For all of their fervor, Hickenlooper sees the demonstrators a small minority.

"Not only do they not represent the middle, I don't think they represent the Republican party. I don't think they represent a large number of people," Gov. Hickenlooper said.

When asked, the governor did not name any proposal in a Democratic package of gun bills that he opposes, but pointed out that several of the bills have been modified to address concerns from critics.

Earlier this year, the governor said he'd sign a limit on magazines, then signaled that his decision on HB 1224 wasn't final.

In our interview, Hickenlooper indicated he still plans to sign the measure into law.

"Once you say you're going to sign something, you're going to sign something," Hickenlooper said. "I've never wavered. I said we're always re-thinking it."

The governor says he took some pause when Colorado company Magpul said it would leave the state if the bill becomes law, despite an exception for manufacturers.

Ultimately, the decision will be up to the company, but Hickenlooper says he's trying to win Magpul more government business through his Washington connections.

The governor opted not to weigh in on Senate President John Morse's gun liability bill.

"It's so hypothetical that it doesn't do me well until we see what it actually looks like," Hickenlooper said.

Watch the entire interview here. After a lengthy discussion on guns, the governor also answers questions about marijuana, the death penalty, and fracking.

While I might not always agree with everything that comes out of the Republican party ...the next few elections I am going to make damn sure I do my part to ensure they get elected.

The Republican party has an "I win" button they had best campaign on that and shut their holes on everything else.

I honestly believe The Peoples votes don't really mean shit anymore. Call me a nutcase or a conspiracy theorist, but I think it's all controlled by the puppetmasters behind the curtains. They put whoever in office that it takes, Dem or Rep, to get the sheep going the direction they want them to. And whoever's in office damn well better dance when Massa say so. We don't have "leaders", we have "controllers", who are themselves controlled. From Obama on down, they don't work for us, but it's their asses if they don't keep us thinking that they do.

I don't know who's really behind it all, but Soros is obviously part of it. And that whole "Bilderburg" group and their secret "conferences" are very disturbing. The whole New World Order thing, someone obviously wants to turn everyone on the planet into just "Earthlings", or whatever, and not have individual countries anymore.

JMHO, but I'm nuts anyway I reckon.

I don't think the people's votes mean anything anymore, but I don't really think it's a conspiracy. I refuse to believe that a person or a group of people would be so much more intelligent that they could conceive and realize such a massive undertaking (all in complete secrecy, for some unknown purpose). I believe there are people out there with the power to influence events, but their choices are all 50% luck, just like everyone else. They're just luckier than most. Bronco Bama makes mistakes almost daily, and he just lies and talks his way out of it.

I believe that all the problems we face today are not the result of some puppetmaster, but rather human nature. Or the nature of civilization, or society. It's on autopilot. There's no fixing it, no changing it, no going backwards. You stick your head up, it gets cut off. You yourself dared me to stand up for my rights against a police officer the other day. Why? You desired to see me punished for standing up for my rights. You said it would be entertaining for you and everyone else here. We live in a sick society, and we're all contribute to it in one form or another.

A person can be smart, people are stupid. And when you do stupid thing after stupid thing, for hundreds of years, it catches up to you. It compounds and grows exponentially, and we're witnessing it right now.

I just don't believe in fighting the system at this point. The system is not evil, per say. Democrats are not evil, or stupid, they're just a product of the system.

I'm just going to live my life, in the manner I see fit, and I'm going to leave a ton of guns and ammo to my kids. We're never going to be able to fight the system, but when the system breaks down, we're going to need to be able to fight.

It saddens me to agree with this. The truth is, many, especially in the population centers that control the vote "NEED" someone to feed them, shelter them, and tell them what to do. If given freedom, they will behave badly.

The sad reality is that the democrats won the 2012 elections in Colorado. The Democratic agenda IS being represented by the elected officials. Their constituents DO want gun control and unfortunately their representatives are serving it up. I don't think there's a conspiracy, they are simply acting on their philosophy.

Most the people that were voting Dem in 2012, were voting for women's health. If the Dems had come out on a stage or a commercial and say "And by the way we are coming after every firearm in the state and the country," they wouldn't have made it.

People got sucked in, they believed they were voting for "progress" and voting against an outdated way of looking at things...they failed to realize the unintended consequences of putting these people in power.

The ironic thing is... those who were voted in because of "women's health" are the same ones turning around and saying "while we will give you the CHOICE of abortion... we are going to take away your CHOICE of protection on college campuses".

Rape on college campus? Oh don't worry about that... we'll give you the choice to abort it AFTER the rape! No need to worry about protecting yourself FROM the rape!

I call BS. They willingly believed in lies and non-sequiturs to rationalize their votes. The so-called "Story of Julia" and other "women's health" garbage spread by the Democrat Party and Obama were just so much sewage. In the first place, call it what it is -- a desire for widely available and preferably taxpayer-funded abortions -- because nothing else in the Dem platform had anything to do with women's health (and I would contend abortion itself is a non-sequitur to overall women's health). In the second place, there was nothing in the GOP plank about removing access to abortions; hell, Romney's biggest problem inside the GOP was that he came from Massachusetts and wasn't considered conservative enough.

Those of you who voted for REGRESSIVE and OUTDATED Stalinist government -- whether it was voting for Obama, Hickenlooper, or your local rep -- got exactly what you deserve. Unfortunately, your votes are dragging the rest of us along with you.
