XD-S sights

So picked up an xd-s and I love it!! But was wondering if anyone has had success replacing the front red fiber optic. Is there a way to slide out the post for a night sight, or do you just have to replace the whole front sight. And does anyone know of any night sights on the market that fit the XDs.

As far as i have heard from my gunsmith buddies, the standard XD night sites will fit. I have swapped my red element for the green. It was a pain getting the red out but with a small punch and a lighter it isnt too bad. once you get the old one out. installation of the new element is cake.
