If the majority of the population don't see the gov gearing for a civil war, they are just blind. I have operated these vehicles. If a revolution does break out, gonna be hard taking these things out. They can withstand a LOT of stuff.

I never had a chance to see one of these up front when I was dont range, off hand do you know what they were typically in the shop for maintenance for? I know our Up armored HUMVEE's would always pop ball joints and control arms.

So... Actually looking at the contract award announcement, which which is more than a year old, these are being retro fitted for the USMC... I can't find anything official to support this "DHS buying thousands of MRAPs" nonsense. If someone has a source that's not infowars please post it.

We beat the crap out of ours daily and they took it like a champ. I would say the biggest weakness they have is offroad capability. They were not the best off the hardened surface. The MATV's on the other hand were the best all around vehicle I have ever dealt with. We used both in Afghanistant in 2010-2011.

I've never used one., but every time I'm behind one I can't figure out the hell they don't tip over constantly. The things look super top heavy.

Wasn't this mostly 9mm and .40? They're going to war with handguns?

As pointed out by Mick-boy, these are for the USMC.

Nope, don't see too much out of line here.
