Much like tanks, they don't do very well in big holes, but it is still kinda scary because those aren't all that useful for non-lethal riot control, and really they would only really serve a purpose on the border and that is still a sieve.

Any armored vehicle is susceptible to damage or destruction when a Molotov cocktail is deployed above the engine compartment vents.

Mixed in that 2 billion rounds is at least 200 million rounds of .223 www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=c432be5826bf182b1 80ab4c2392aa978&tab=core&_cview=1

I believe there is more 223 being bought just don't have the time to search for the pdf files.

What was interesting is the figure that the Iraq war on average consumes about 5.5 million rounds a month. Thats about 24 years worth of the Iraq war. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Governm...-Of-Ammunition

That may work for light armor vehicles but I highly doubt that would work for an Abrams.

but large holes work very well, Germans, Polish, Afghans have made pretty good examples of this ...not against an Abrams, but a tank is a tank

The best way to stop armor is to go after their supply lines IMHO.
