Thank you guys it means a lot !!the medical practice thing almost killed him two years ago in November, I went back not expecting him to make it to Xmas , changed his meds and maintained till this year. I am not a week person but this shit messes with you. Home care folks have made him comfortable and we hope and pray for the best. I feel for my mom to having to deal with this after 52 years of marriage.

Tell stories, listen, and remind your Dad how much he has meant to you.

We should all do these things as often as possible and not wait until something reminds us that none of us will live forever.
