    I listened to the broadcast for most of the evening yesterday and it was pretty clear to me democrats would rather keep their toe to the party line instead of voting on bills for the best interest of the citizens they represent. Democrats didn't debate 1224 last night because they knew it was a bad bill in the first place (even being called out to come up and debate several times)

    Yesterday showed me how easilly our political representation can be influenced from the outside.

    Hopefully in 2014 when we have state elections those democrats who made party more important than what their citizens wanted will reflect in the ballot box.

    Stevie Wonder can see that these bills lack real support. It really pissed me off when there was an amendment on the floor to kill 1224 and the senator asked anyone that supports the bill to come rationally explain why it shouldn't die. The only response, was Hodge with "I urge a no vote" it's pretty sad..
