Like I said, my fight is now. The rest of my statements were towards those who said I should stick it out 'just a few more years' because things were going to somehow get miraculously better just because there was another election. You'll see, when they solidify their stranglehold on the state in the next election you'll see how bad things can really get.
That being said, the three votes we need to sway won't happen. This has already been decided and now it's just going through the motions for the peasants and making it look like things are closer than they are. They're not even listening to the overwhelming response of email, letters, phone calls, tweets, facebook posts and in-person stories & debates. They don't care. It doesn't matter. I wish it did and have done my part but know it's all for not. Sorry, I had hope for weeks even though I knew it was all for not. Now I guess that part of the realization is slowly starting to take over.
