The letter that just went out to every single House and Senate member! Will it do any good? No... the Democrats won't get it because their leadership has been urging them NOT to read emails or listen to their messages! I still had to say it though and it is 100% true!

My wife just came to me and asked "do you know how easy it is to change your political party affiliation in the state of Colorado?" It was much less a question and more of a statement. With the way the democrats have voted, handled this process, this package, and the constituents (yes, we've heard about the movement to ignore emails and messages, the corrupt threatening, extortion and bribing of our elected officials [sheriffs])... she has finally had enough. Congratulations on turning the heart of that little liberal from California! =) You have helped her see the light and she just filled out her paperwork to make the jump not from Democrat to Independent... but from Democrat to Republican! WOW! If you knew her... you would know that would be saying a lot! She is ashamed and embarrassed to be called a Democrat! I can only HOPE that many other women and Democrats in this state have been paying attention to the way the Democrats in the General Assembly have conducted themselves these past few weeks and will do the same to CHANGE their affiliation as well.

Having Bloomberg say he will fund your next run at election probably has you feeling pretty safe right now... but I think more people have been paying attention to this than you want to believe. I hope you find it was worth it. To not only put the lives of our citizens in danger with these unsafe bills (soon to be laws), but to put your political careers in danger as well... I guess if it doesn't take sheer stupidity it takes guts so congratulations either way!

We have taken the names of every single person who voted in favor of these bills (thank God for the roll vote). We (along with thousands of others) have made it our mission to work tirelessly and fight against your reelection and WE WILL FIGHT to get those rights back that you are trying to take away from us. When you are congratulating yourselves and patting yourselves on the back tonight for putting a target on CO citizens' backs... keep in the back of your mind that the celebration will be short lived because we will not give up. We will not allow you to strip us of our rights and liberties. As was said earlier today on the Senate floor... we would rather die in a free country/state, than live in one that is not!

It literally happened within minutes of the last vote. She came to me and said she has been researching how to change her party affiliation these past few days (I think Friday's testimony and the way the rape victims were treated was the straw that broke the camel's back) and she already filled out the paperwork. She is disgusted! I can only hope and pray that there are many others out there who were paying attention and feel the same way!!!

stay a democrat, then you screw up the gerrymandering and get to vote in their primaries (assuming they are challenged, if they aren't this next time something is wrong)

I switched from independent to D for that purpose only.

What gets me is the sheer hubris of these people, these who won't own a gun, won't use a gun, won't touch a gun, won't allow a gun in our schools, disarm us, make us criminals, have acknowledged in law that they depend on us to be the sheepdogs to risk our lives to protect the sheep they purposely keep in danger. Those people don't CCW, we do; they aren't the ones who tackled a crazed gunman, it was a retired military officer that the sponsor of 1224 considers too insane to be allowed to buy a 30 round magazine, aided by a CCW holder.

So what's the chance of online dealers not being willing to sell *any* mags to CO due to the "Readily Convertible" clause?
I also hope nobody puts CO on the 'list' early on... July 1, people... Just ordered a mag for an XD(m) that I don't have yet.

I'm considering doing the same..... Time to throw the wrench in their gears. They must pay for this politically, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make it hurt.

The next thing I need to do is set up the trust for my son and I. I just gave him 8 PMAGS and 5 G17 mags; I am going to get the documentation notarized.

Make sure you get your gets all set up on mags.

I am pretty lucky, a good friend sent me a bunch of mags from out of state.

Any reason I can't "give" my 7 yr old son a nice set of 20/30 rd AR and Thompson mags right now for his future enjoyment?
