Alright. Please correct me if I'm wrong . . . because I truly hope I am wrong on this . . . but it was my understanding that a series of Executive Orders signed by every POTUS since LBJ has created the DHS, thereby networking all Federal law enforcement agencies with all state and local law enforcement, and enabling DHS, assisted by the military, to oversee and control local law enforcement during time of a declared "emergency" upon POTUS authorization. That would mean that, in the event of civil disturbances resulting from enforcement of various firearm prohibitions, the .gov could disregard Posse Comitatus and take total control over local law enforcement agencies, including the Sheriff Department. Is this untrue?
