Then mine are defective as they haven't killed anyone, much less a lot of people.

As for being available, he hasn't been shopping in the same stores I normally go to.

Kelly is entitled to his opinion. I choose to respectfully disagree with him. What happened to his wife was tragic. If he gets what he wants, does he really believe that no one else will ever be victimized by violent criminals?

I wonder why he is wasting his money. I will give him more for that AR than the Tuscon PD will.

And there's your answer. He wanted to buy one before they were banned. Then, when news leaked that he purchased it, he decided to save face by saying he was going to turn it over. If he really wanted no one to know or to prove his point that they're too easy to get, he should have purchased it in a private party transaction where there are no records or simple background checks.

Then again, if he was just purchasing it to get it off the streets, they should raid his house because I'm sure he's got many kilos of drugs there too, that he's waiting to turn over to the police.

There's no shortage of things to be angry about with these people.

It seems to me that the military isn't a big fan of private firearm ownership. Try taking a gun on post sometime.

Idiot, typical. He has bodyguard for him as well. Caught in he act and like many of you say he obviously got caught is not back-peddling. I have am idea. Stay out of Colorado and stop your double standards.

Even if he did turn it in to Tuscon PD, that's Arizona. Don't they resell back to the market anyway? He could have just written a check. What a tool.

One of my favorite comments on his FB page:

"Please pack your ass up and move to NY!"

A fucking liar. He got caught buying these weapons, and is now backpedaling.
Given his history as someone who engages in fairly slimey behavior I think you nailed it on the head.

If there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to buy a gun, there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to vote.

For legal reasons, that's a joke.
