While I understand where you are coming from... I'm glad they didn't disallow non-Colorado citizens from testifying because I believe the testimony of Amanda Collins (and the way she was treated by some of the Senators) was paramount in helping kill that bill!

+1.. Saving Hudak's ass was the main reason why that bill was withdrawn.

I would take a campus CCW ban over the magazine bullshit any day.

I would rather be able to carry 15 rounds while I'm on campus than not be able to carry anything at all. But the part we do agree on is we shouldn't be compromising at all!

    The Colorado Legislature was duped.
They need to stop letting these clowns come to Colorado spouting "BAN!" and then running home buying the very weapon they wanted to be banned.

Unfortunately the "straw purchase" argument does not work if he "gifts" it to the PD.

Agreed, he wanted one and got caught buying it and now backpeddals.

Drudge, Fox, Beck, Boyles, Brown all should find this of interest.

A fucking liar. He got caught buying these weapons, and is now backpedaling.
+1 This was my exact thought. I wonder if he just waits until the whole issue dies down and keeps it anyways. He's a hypocrite just like Feinstein who owns guns and yet is so against them. Can I also point out that the crime that was committed that turned Feinstein into an anti-gunner was committed with a REVOLVER, and would still be legal even if her ban went through.

AR-15s are a superb all-purpose rifle so I have no issue with him buying it unless he chose to go buy additional 30-round standard capacity magazines to go with it. On the other hand, this fib about buying it with an intent to turn it into the PD just to make a point about how easy it was for a Navy O-6 astronaut to pass a background check is laughably stupid and should be spread and questioned nationwide.

Dudes, read it all. He claims that after he takes possession of the Ar he will turn it over to the Tucson PD. He may be a smart guy and all but he is a shitstick for climbing on the publicity bandwagon due to his wife being injured. Reminds me of Capn' Dan. Then again maybe he ain't so smart if he only made captain....He was trying to make a point like the rest of the fucksticks in Fast and Furious and we all know how that turned out. At least one hard working, tax paying American was killed because of that fiasco.

Come to think of it I don't beleive our glorious shits in the plantation of DC cares one shoit about the lives of hard working, tax paying American Citizens...
