Consignment. People are realizing how ridiculously high ARs are selling for, but they don't want to do a private party transaction, because those are illegal with their lack of background checks!!!

So, they take them into their local gun shop and let them take a cut of the already extreme profit, and keep what they originally paid for the AR. Seems reasonable.
