I agree with this. It comes down to the acts the OP are inferring. I read it to be the cartridge box. I see us at the ballot box.

This goes further back than 1934. Try the post-Civil War days. Even our own revolution was started in part because the British wanted to round up some guns.

This fight has been ongoing since the early days of our country's founding.

I believe my "red line" is at the registration stage. Registration has led to confiscation 100% of the time, so it is the final alarm for me.

So, Dem's got a lot of seats and now we are reaping what was sewn.

The OP is talking about "risking it all", is it that time again? Hell no. The OP is talking about war. At this point it would come over like McVeigh part two. Politically fighting this is the right venue now. Even our founding fathers sent the Olive Branch Treaty before it all kicked off...

IMO unless you've done everything on the list of legal means to see the changes that need to happen, you have no right to even begin talking about revolution, while expecting that anyone follow your lead. Anyone whom starts that talk the first thing out of my mouth is.

Have you written to your representatives?
If you have and not gotten your way, have you donated, campaigned, or otherwise supported candidates with whom you agree?
If you have and still not gotten there, Have you run for office yourself?
If you have and still not gotten there, have you looked at other legal processes like filing lawsuits for judicial recourse?
If you have and still not gotten there, have you "voted with your feet" and moved to a place that better matches your views?
If you have and still not gotten there, Do you have at least 50% of the people in your district, and home state on your side and are you truly being oppressed by a tyrannical govt?
If yes, do you have enough support to actually step up to violence, and will you not be sent packing by the very folks you thought supported you?
If yes, then I still say you have to VERY carefully consider what you are proposing before going off half cocked.

I get that you are discouraged, I am too, it drives me crazy, but keep in mind those that run into the streets with guns before the general climate is right, will be cut down, and even once the time is "right" you're still going to push 90% of the sheep running into the open arms of the government begging them to stop YOU.
