Machine Gunner
I've got a new Henry Golden Boy, and an old Marlin 39A original golden. Marlin is the winner by a long shot, but the Henry is still a very good lever action .22. Both smooth as all get out. 39A has a Williams peep sight, and boy is it accurate.
Of course the M&P 15-22 suppressed is a hoot too, but not the go-to gun for old school fun and accuracy. I keep thinking I should put a scope on something, but can't bear to actually do it. I'm not sure I could do any better with a scope than with the 39A and Peep sight. I think the Marlin might reject it, kind of like a transplant gone bad.
