    Thanks to those that served!

In a similar boat myself, never served, but I have ZERO tolerance for those that dishonor and are a discredit to those that did.

I know and have known way too many people that have served and most the time you just know when someone is full of shit.

There is, it is legal as long as you are not in the military. 1A allows you to be a lying scumbag.

Almost as funny is messing with boot Marines/military out of A-school/ITB that sit in bars talking a big talk. The only bad part is it requires one to go to said bars.

I know a guy in Georgia who got all sorts of Marine tattoos, Eagle and Globe, Semper Fi, etc. and he's never been in the marines. He's a total douche. I've never been in the service, but I have a ton of respect for all of you that have. Knowing that people do this stuff really grinds my gears!

    We were all there once.

I enlisted fresh out of school when I was 17. After graduating SOI, I was absolutely convinced that I was the baddest thing on two feet... right up until my first Platoon Sgt at 2/2 caught me looking at him sideways and offered to drop blouses with me (I accepted). It was the first in many, many lessons in humility that I've been learning ever since taking up the profession of arms.
