    Stupid posers.
I just don't get why they want to pose as militant to get women or respect.

Maybe wearing Cisco System or Google uniform will get them more gals at a bar?

I would argue yes it did. People could of voted for him because of his claims. Other examples I have seen is that stolen valor guys have been given something for being a vet. These assholes wouldn't do this if they didn't benefit from it in some way.

I posted this some time ago. This guy never served in Vietnam.

Due to the old law where anyone who had served at all came under the definition of "veteran", my wife's late stepfather (who was, to be nice, a real piece of crap) who only served a whopping 2 weeks in the Navy (if you count the first 2 weeks of Navy boot) was buried in Ft. Logan. Ok, whatever, it was under the old law. However...I had what could charitably be termed an apoplectic rage when my mother in law announced that he was going to be buried "with honors". I went to the service at the funeral home, and then when we got to Ft. Logan, where my father, my best friend's father, and several close friends of mine rest, I sat in our car and did my best to not come unglued. I explained clearly that I would not participate, and exactly why. And to this day I feel that my selfish, narcissistic bitch of a mother in law (who I get along with pretty well otherwise) dishonored every worthy veteran in that hallowed piece of ground with her need to play the "grieving veteran's wife". My wife feels the same way, and has told her that.

However; if the individual served during the time of a war my understanding is that will be annotated on the headstone.

If you serve during the last 10 years and dont deploy and you put operation enduring freedom on your tombstone no problem. If you put Iraq or Afghanistan on that thing and they need to dig that shit up and destroy both the casket and headstone.

Maybe those posers are interns at DCIS or something doing undercover training. hahaha

Anyways, I had a real military guys who try to be a poser as well.
When I was working at an airport as a part time job during late 2002, there were few real solider with orders (instead of passport) trying to say they are on a top secret mission. They have sensitive materials with them, and demanded a business class or first class free upgrade.
I ask them "sensitive" , and they said "yes"

I just gave them the shittiest seat, and introduce them to the TSA random check.
