Boulder Area Get Together

I've been on, and thoroughly enjoying, the forums for a while now but it seems to be hard to find people in the Boulder area. I'd love to get a group together to go to either North Site or Left hand and spend some time getting to know each other, shooting, and doing a little clean up. I'd love to meet more forum members and also do a bit of maintence to some of the only public shooting areas we have near by. Left Hand can be a bit sketchy at times but I recently came across a new area, mainly accessible by 4x4, that's a great place to shoot with an almost perfect 100 meter backstop. I think it'd be great to get some Boulder area, or any, members together and have a good safe shoot sometime in the near future. Lets work something out!

Just realized North Site might be closed, been a long time since I've been up that way, so Left Hand looks like our best bet for a local area

I'd be up for some Lefthand meeting / shooting! ... nowhere to shoot in Lefthand 'cept the 'sketchy' place ... knowhutimean??

I agree, but during the week it's not such a bad place, stopped by today and there was just one guy collecting brass at the main site, further up the road was empty. I'm just looking for a good place for us Boulder area guys to get together, and yes, Longmont is included.

This still in the works? I am in when the snow clears. I shoot at left hand all the time. It is not that sketchy, just never ever go downrange for anything. The rules are a little different there. "Cease Fire" means don't shoot directly at them when they go downrange. "Muzzle Control" means you have a gun in your strong hand so that you don't spill beer on it. Things like that. You will get used to it. Let me know via PM when this happens, I am off most Mondays and Tuesdays but I seem to gloss over this part of the forum most of the time.

^^^^this is what makes it sketchy. Once the weather clears I have a better place about 10 min up the road that's empty and has just over 100 yards into a solid backstop. I'm gone this weekend but lets get something together in the next week or two. If we can go during the week even better. If you're interested ill start putting things together. PM me or post here if you're interested. Even just a few guys is a good time.
