I dont' think that throwing more money at the problem will solve it. I don't think that calmly writing letters will solve it. These things have not worked thus far, they'll start working now?
Just an observation.
It has been mentioned in another thread about making a portion of this sight private. I really believe that would be a good idea for some topics to reside in.
As far as the opposition is concerned we are all mouth breathers, knuckle dragging neanderthals. They feel we only need our guns for violent coercion or mass murder for fun. Because they have zero exposure to guns, they fear them. It's a virus with them. They are convinced of their ideas of what guns are and represent. Education, usually can correct most ignorance of almost any subject. But they refuse to listen or pay attention because they feel they are "educated". Just as we feel we are right, they feel the same. The difference is we have history, facts and real life experience with guns, and they don't. That is what is so frustrating. They refuse to believe in the constitution. They see it as a worn out old time rhetorical document, not realizing what history has proved. They have not experienced or feel tyranny cannot ever happen here again. it hasn't happened again because of the 2nd amendment. Fienstein still talks about hunting as a reason to not need our modern personal defense weapons. They are being lied to right and left. It's all so maddening! I have no solution. I just want them to become more educated in history. There is nothing else that can prove to them it really can happen here again! It has already started.
