Even if it's not RMGO's intention, when they do this it makes them look like they're more interested in getting donations that would otherwise go to NRA than to actually do anything to help the cause. I'm not saying that RMGO isn't committed to the cause (I truly believe they are) but it does annoy me that they seem to fall for "Divide & Conquer" so easily.

This absolute devotion to 110% ideological purity is also why the LP has never got anywhere (but that's another long thread ).

I would just stick to fighting our opposition, not other gun organizations. Just my opinion

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to ‘Please Do Not Feed the Animals'. Their stated reason for the policy is because the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.

    Amen brother.

I'm both a NRA lifer and a RMGO member. I've met Dudley and respect the trench work he's done at the capital over the years. I have no problem with RMGO's no compromise stance at all. But sometimes I think Dudley's a professional self-promoter and IMO, he has huge ethical blind spots. For example, using the RMGO email list to pimp his concealed carry classes. It's just this kind of ethical brain fart that gives the Dark SideTM the ammo they need to discredit us. It's like this whole RMGO blow-up with Joe Neville and Cheri Gerou, the (R) from Evergreen, over her support for civil unions. This comes from the huge overlap between the religious right lobbying corps and RMGO personnel. Never should have happened. Amazing how they can make enemies out of natural allies on the gun rights issue. IMO, Cheri set just the right tone when she told Neville to "Fuck off!".

Did I miss where the NRA was out here fighting for our Colorado rights? IMO they were negligently missing from the action.

Yes, you missed it. Don't fault them because of it.
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

I'm not sure how you missed it over the past few months but you did. You have a right to have an opinion but in this case, it's dead wrong and misinformed.
