This sounds like exactly the thing to get every single Republican in the country to vote.

To question your government is not unpatriotic — to not question your government is unpatriotic.
Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws.
But, it's for the children!
OK, I am back now...had to go vomit.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Canada's probably a lot more gun-friendly than you think. It's nothing like here, but they allow you to own quite a bit of firearms. They even allow Americans to bring guns into Canada with a simple form.
Their government still has many more socialist type programs than the US though, so it makes me laugh when people talk about moving North.
The Wookie and the Witch...what's not to like?
Emotions aside, let's think of this objectively:
If Hillary runs, would it matter who the second seat was? - any Republican competitor would be the underdog from the get-go. The Hillary/Michelle ticket is surely unlikely but if it did occur a win would not be out of the question. The demographics of the country no longer support the historic paradigm:
Michelle would pull 90%+ of the black vote
Hillary has a substantial fan base, irrespective of her substantial negative numbers
Together they'd have:
-the gay vote (Republicans have a way of shooting themselves in the foot on this issue)
-the pro-choice vote (Republicans have a way of shooting themselves in the other foot on this issue)
-the hispanic vote (hispanics have overwhelmingly voted D lately and their numbers aren't shrinking like the numbers for other groups are)
-the independent women vote (similar to blacks voting for Obama, a lot of women would like to see a woman as president)
-the Democratic vote (anyone recall the numbers from this past November?)
When it comes to foreign relations issues in the debates, Hillary would stomp any likely Republican contender (Rubio's two week Middle-East trip isn't going to equate well against someone with a hitch as Secretary of State).
If the Republicans don't kick their game up a notch...or five, 2016 isn't going to retrieve the White House from the Democrats.
I'd stop claiming to be an american if they bought the election.
