Default FIREMISSION! Register Your Disagreement with HB1224!

    All,

The Governor's office is still tallying emails for and against the gun bills that have been passed, in order to inform Governor Hickenlooper of public opinion on whether they should be signed into law or not. Let him know that they should not!

    Use the contact form at

http://www.colorado.gov/govhdir/requ...inion-leg.html to register your disagreement with HB-1224 and the other gun bills. Please keep your message brief, polite, and to the point that you oppose HB1224 and all other anti-gun legislation, and urge the governor to VETO these bills.

    Go get 'em!

My note to the governor on HB1226:

    Governor:

I write to you as the father of a CSU student. Please do not support HB1226, or veto it if it lands on your desk.

Now that my daughter has left for college to become the woman that she will be, I can not be there to protect her. She deserves the basic human right of self-defense. CCW holders practice the self-discipline of harmlessness daily to their fellow man, and I hope she and others maintain their ability to defend life, liberty and happiness.

    With respect,

    JVC

    Note on HB1224:

    Governor:

I urge you to VETO HB1224. Punishing good people for the acts of an insane and tiny minority is unethical, immoral and unjust. I ask that you veto this collective punishment of the whole for the acts of a distrubed few.

    With respect,

    JVC

Sorry to be repetitive. Just a little dumbfounded on how low our lawmakers have fallen.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Thanks all. I'm a little invested in this bill. My daughter is a CSU student, and this bill is bad for her and her fellow students.
