    Default DNC Coverage

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up. A sizeable volunteer group of local Colorado bloggers and grassroots activists have joined together to cover the DNC. For anyone who is fleeing Denver because of next week's invasion, you can check out: People's Press Collective. They're shooting video, shooting photos, and blogging comments and articles. They'll be there to provide viewers the breaking news that sometimes gets cut from newsrooms. They'll give you coverage of parties, parades, and protests.

Today they dropped by the Pepsi Center for a look around and captured DNC employees washing chalk messages from anti-abortion protestors. Video is up on the site and headline reads, "DNC washes away free speech."

Democrats believe your rights to free speech end when you disagree with them.

With the DNC going on, I don't plan on getting much further north than Arapahoe Rd.

Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

I'll be camping out on the parking garage at Auraria so I can take photos as the S Hs TF...

Then I'll make a tactical escape by dead sprinting down the street to the light rail station and waiting 5 minutes for the train...

I still can't believe they're going to close a major highway in a major city on a workday during rush hour for 5+ hours.WTF
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

I work in the big brown building with the big blue sign downtown....A lot of us are working next week mostly out of morbid curiosity.

I heard one group is going to set up "checkpoints" around town so that "citizens can understand what life in Iraq is like".

A guy I ride the light rail with is a welder at the Mint. They're reinforcing the fence around the Mint - he said the guy from Recreate68 sent an email to the head of the Mint stating "we are going to shake the change out of the Mint"

The last Democratic convention had 1,500 protesters total. I doubt we'll exceed that. Talk's cheap these days.
