Copy from my email that went out, wanted to post here as well.

    Hey all,

Sorry for more than 1 email this month, but I am excited! Weather looks like its going to be 70-75 and sunny, may have a bit of breeze, but its match time!!!!

This month is going to be a focus on standards practice for several upcoming classifier matches next month. Come out and get some practice in!

Match stages and round count is set, it will be 5 courses of fire/stages with a total minimum round count of 90.

And an FYI for you, the classifier matches are scheduled for the following clubs:

(Click names of clubs for more information on matches)

Also here is some good information about the classifier if you would like to study up. This is the one event where you can practice and the stages wont change before you get to the match!

    Tips for the Classifier

    Please review the Classifier CoF

    • 90 rounds are needed for the Classifier
    • Bring all of your reloading devices (mags, moon clips, speedloaders...)
      • as you shoot others can reload them for you
      • Load your magazines to full capacity - this si the only IDPA match where you can do this! Take advantage of this time saver!

    • Everyone helping also makes for a faster Classifier, please:
      • tape targets
      • pickup brass
      • reload

    • No concealment garment is worn
    • No reshoots allowed

    Pertinent match info:

IF MATCH IS CANCELLED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED HERE, ON WEBSITE, AND ON FACEBOOK.

Good time again today. Good practice for next month. Some challenging stages.

OBC and the rest of the first timers did well and now have a new addiction to deal with.

Thanks for a great match and to everyone who helped this FNG get through his first match. I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to getting back out as soon as work -life allow.

Scores are up. I like the new scoring thing, having a bit of a time figuring it out, but I just need some more time with it. I really like the break downs for different categories. I placed second in my division, but only because the 10 people who shot better didn't put what their ranking was or haven't classified yet. This should be encouragement to go through a classifier!
